**CLARIFICATION**  Regarding the previous letter that was mailed to all retirees about the annual payment to Mason Tenders District Council:  It has been clarified to us that the payment structure is as follows •If you retired prior to the age of 65, your annual benefits payment cost will always be $600 •If you were age 65 and over when you retired, your annual benefits payment cost will always be $300  This price is the same regardless of whether the benefits cover one person (the retiree) or the retiree and his/her spouse.  If our previous letter caused you to forward the wrong amount of money to Mason Tenders District Council, please make up the difference with a second payment, and feel free to call MTDC any time to inquire about your coverage: (212) 452-9700 and select option 2 for member benefits  When you call, identify yourself as a retiree of Local 1261 and have your Social Security number handy.  If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call or email the LFA office any time.  Again, our sincerest apologies for any misunderstanding as a result of our previous reminder letter.
