Christ the King Contract Ratified Long Island LFA schools contract ratified

New LiUNA Union Identification Cards: At the February Board of Directors Meeting the delegates were in for a long night that included the preparation of this year’s LiUNA Union Identification cards.  Be sure to carry them with you as proof that you’re a Union Member for discounts and special offers at businesses that support Union Labor.  Check out the link to Union Plus on our Resources Page for examples LFA thanks LiUNA VP Ray Pocino for Support: At our Christmas meeting on December 16th, Liuna rep Paul Drazen, who has been our counsel and advisor during the supervision period, attended on behalf of the Liuna organization. Ciro presented him with a plaque for Vice President Ray Pocino as thanks from the entire Lay Faculty Association for the hard work and support he has shown us during this transitional time. LFA Welcomes Sacred Heart Academy: Sacred Heart Academy a women’s college preparatory school, located in Hempstead, New York is the newest member of the Lay Faculty Association member schools.  The majority of the faculty have signed dues authorization cards which is required when a school’s faculty wishes to be represented. The LFA is now seeking to schedule collective bargaining sessions with the school’s administration.
