Every Saatva Classic begins with a 3-inch Euro pillow top dressed in an organic cotton cover. This initial layer is soft and cushiony, but it also feels slightly more supportive under your lumbar spine due to specialized quilting.
Next up, is a strip of memory foam (what Saatva calls a “crown” rather than a full layer) underneath that same lumbar region. It’s just on top of the pocketed “comfort coils” that make up the bed’s first spring unit. The springs themselves are firmer in the lumbar zone, too.

From the type of bed to how body type and sleep position also matter, we’ll detail everything you need to know to find the best mattress for sex.
Bounce & Responsiveness
This is the criterion for how quickly the bed bounces back and adjusts to your movements. A slower response time (or a less bouncy mattress) could make you feel as if you are having sex amidst a field of quicksand.
